✨✨✨Let me preface this by saying, I normally don’t read books like this. They tend to not be my thing, but damn can this girl write (not that I ever had a doubt)!!! I straight up DEVOURED this book. I didn’t want to put it down.✨✨✨
This book was so freaking good! It put me through the wringer, all the feels! This book pulls on all your emotions and you will definitely feel emotionally exhausted by the end.
Hailey escaped an abusive relationship and is trying to make it on her own and move on with her life. Along the way, she meets Ethan, a blast from her past. But her ex isn’t ready to let her go. He haunts her every step; will she be able to survive another encounter with her abuser? And Ethan, stirring up feelings she thought were long lost, a relationship blooms. Will it be what she needs to move on? Or will it wreck her even more?
I love Hailey. Hailey is one of the realest characters I have read about, maybe ever. The character growth is something to be admired. She goes from being this timid, scared girl, who second guesses everyone’s motives, to a strong empowered woman, who isn’t afraid to go after what she wants. It was just amazing to read about and to watch her grow.
I absolutely loved her and Ethan’s relationship.😍😍😍 They could not be more perfect for each other. ***heavy sigh*** We need more men like Ethan in the world.
I just loved everything about this book. I read through it so quickly.
AND HOLY JESUS THAT ENDING. That. Was. Intense. Like I did not see that coming AT ALL. You knew Bryce was deranged, but damn. That’s all I have to say about that.

The epilogue was everything though. It made the whole journey worthwhile. It really could not have been more perfect. I highly recommend this book!
And I am breaking my own rating system for this book, six out of five bookworms, because it really was just outstanding! 🐛🐛🐛🐛🐛🐛
