The first book pulled me in so fast, and this one did just the same! You just want to dive in and read as fast as you can to see what happens.
After the bombs🧨🧨🧨 that got dropped at the end of the first book, I love that we finally get to see what the world she comes from is like!
*Sigh* It sounds amazing! I wish I could go there 😭😭😭
Ayla is finally in the world she came from, surrounded by family, new and old, and she has a lead on where to find Brogon. But while everything seems amazing on Aurelia, there is a darkness threatening to swallow the land, Alya along with it. Trying to figure out her place in this new world, she has to navigate the deadly politics, learn her powers and keep an eye out for the darkness that wants to destroy her. Can she pull through everything? Or will she perish?
I loved learning about Ayla's powers 🔥💧🌫and watching her grow. (I wish I could just make clothing appear) She goes through so much in this book. She is such a strong character!
I really just love the characters in this story and the world building.
There are definitely some twists and turns in here that you won't see coming. Make sure to have a box of tissues ready...just saying. 😭😭😭
The ending was so good too! Ugh, just perfect. I cannot wait to read the next one!
