Daring Provocation by: Heather Renee Review

Good lord, this woman knows how to write an amazing story!!! This book was sooooo freaking good. I devoured it so fast!

It’s always sad when a wonderful series comes to an end, but when it ends so beautifully, it’s hard to be too upset.

This book was intense. Like holy moly. I was on the edge of my seat the entire time. I was constantly like OMG WHAT IS GOING TO HAPPEN NEXT!?!?!? Because you know that biznatch Malina was up to no good.

Let me just start with this, I fracking love Rae and Enzo’s relationship. You can feel their love radiating from the pages. They are just so great together. I love how they mess with each other and joke about payback when one of them gets the other one. How fierce they are in their love and wanting to protect each other. And I love Enzo’s overprotective personality. Sometimes in books I have found that trait annoying, but with him it’s different. I think Heather just writes really well and was able to do it in a way that made me love it. ❤❤❤❤

I also love the sense of family in this book. How close all the characters are. Rae had lost everything, but she came into this world and built this amazingly strong family that would protect her and love her till the end of time. It gives me warm fuzzies so hardcore.

There are definitely some twists in this book that you don’t see coming and maybe some that you do. There were some where I was like ‘woah wtf’ and others where I was like ‘YAAAAS!’ I can’t really say much more than that without spoiling everything haha. 🤣

Rae has grown so much since that first book, and she is such a strong character. She is more self-assured; she believes in herself and she trusts her instincts. It’s been amazing watching her transformation from the beginning.

Really all of the characters in this series grew a lot. There really weren’t any static characters. And I really liked that. I love watching characters grow and change. It just makes them seem more real.

And that final battle OMG. I was freaking out. I never want anyone to die, even though I know someone has to. I am so sad in who lost their lives during that final battle…I won’t say who, as to not give anything away, but I was definitely tearing up.

AND THEN….AND THEN THAT EVIL WOMAN FINALLY GETS WHAT SHE DESERVES. THANK THE LORD.

Gah I hated her so much and was so relieved when she was finally deleted. Sorry that is kinda spoiler-ish. HAH I just realized I wrote deleted instead of defeated. I’m not changing it though, cause I think it’s funny. 😂😂 Can you tell I am writing this late at night and am super tired? Naahhh.

OKAY, so read this book. Read this series. It is amazing. I promise you won’t regret it. You will fall in love with the characters. You will laugh with them, cry with them, get angry with them. You will root for them till the end and the ending was amazing. SO GOOD.

So if you take anything away from this review, it’s that this book is awesome and Heather is amazing. The end. 😊
